Robert (Bob) Alder formerly of Edge, died in the loving care of Horsfall House on Saturday 25th February, following a long illness borne with fortitude, patience and dignity, aged 85 years. Beloved husband of 59 years to Rosemary, dearest father to Carol, Colin, Linda, Matthew, Hanna, Daniel and the late Joseph. Fun and caring grandfather to Lucy, Joshua, Nathanael, Bethany, Rebecca, Samuel and Robert and the late Jessica and Henry. Great-grandfather to Archie. Respected brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.
